Summary
Oft-mentioned, seldom-seen, Clare supposedly lives in Manchester, with her husband and two daughters. For much of Janine's childhood, Clare functioned as surrogate mother. She first appeared at Frank's wedding to Pat, and later re-appeared to track down Janine. Upset to learn the truth about Janine's lifestyle of prostitution and drugs, Clare rejected her and left Walford after two days. At Frank's funeral, Diane mentioned that Clare was living in Australia and had already said goodbye to Frank while he was alive.
